What does it mean to be a leader today? How can we act in conditions of uncertainty and exhaustion, support others, make difficult decisions, and at the same time preserve our capacity for creativity, collaboration and growth?
We invite you to join the fourth cohort of the certified programme “Leadership Experience Group: Reflecting on Leadership – IV”, delivered in cooperation with Liverpool John Moores University (UK), with the support of the Human Rights Vector NGO.
This is a space for people in leadership positions who head organisations, teams or initiatives and wish to reflect more deeply on their leadership experience, broaden their perspectives, and learn through interaction with others.
The programme is designed for managers and leaders working across different sectors:
The programme's particular value lies in bringing together people with diverse professional backgrounds, perspectives and approaches to challenges. When representatives of public administration, civil society and business come together, they have an opportunity to look at familiar situations from a different perspective, discover unexpected solutions, and build connections that extend beyond their own professional communities. This is further supported by the innovative forms of interaction introduced by the facilitation team and its experience of working in different countries.
The Leadership Experience Group is not just about management tools or ready-made answers. It offers an opportunity to pause amid everyday decisions and responsibilities, explore one's own experience, exchange practices, and reflect together on what leadership can look like in times of complexity and change.
The programme focuses on:
The programme is the result of fruitful collaboration between international experts, a university and civil society organisations. Its value comes not only from expert knowledge but also from the interaction between participants themselves — their stories, questions, professional practices and shared explorations.
The programme was developed by:
Previous cohorts have demonstrated how inspiring it can be to bring together people working in different professional contexts who share a commitment to developing responsible, creative and humane leadership.
In May 2026, the Liverpool–Ukrainian Leadership Symposium brought together participants from Ukraine and the UK. It continued the shared learning journey and offered an opportunity to deepen professional and personal connections beyond the online environment.
We plan to continue this practice next year. Participants in our leadership programmes will have the opportunity to apply to take part in the next symposium in Liverpool. Some places are expected to be available for participants whose accommodation costs can be covered by the university, alongside opportunities for those able to fund their own trip in full. Further details and participation requirements will be announced in due course.
This is another opportunity to expand professional networks, meet leaders from different backgrounds, and continue exploring leadership together in an international context.
The programme is made possible through financial contributions from participants. Facilitators and organisers contribute their time on a voluntary basis, making their own contribution to strengthening Ukraine's leadership potential.
