«The Case of Discrimination: How Press Services should act»

Human Rights Vector and the Social Action Center, in partnership with the Council of Judges of Ukraine, conducted a training on the Case of Discrimination: How Press Services should act.
The training was attended by the heads of the courts, press-secretariea and court spokesmen from different regions of Ukraine.
Within two days 22 participants studied:
— to describeethically discrimination cases;
— to use tools to cover cases of discrimination by the court's press services
— to organize the work of the court communication team
— to prepare for interviews with journalists

Classes were held in an interactive form. The training was based on real cases that people applied to Ukrainian courts.

Iryna Fedorovych, Deputy Chair of the Center for Social Action, expert of the Anti-Discrimination Coalition in Ukraine, co-author and author of anti-discrimination manuals for civil servants.

Nazarii Boiarskyi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Human Rights Vector NGO, Member of the Council of Europe Youth Coaches Group, Expert on the Anti-Discrimination Coalition in Ukraine;
Olga Kakaulina, spokeswoman for the Council of Judges of Ukraine;
The training was opened by Nadezhda Stefaniv, a judge of the Supreme Court, president of the Ukrainian Association of Women Judges.
