The year began with an event “Working creatively with difference” for female leaders
The year began in the circle of female leaders at the online event “Working creatively with difference” as part of the program “Leadership Experience Group: Reflections on Leadership. Development and Support of Leaders in Conditions of Uncertainty and Rapid Change.”
The event was led by Dr. Kevin Flinn, Senior Lecturer in Executive Education at Liverpool Business School, Liverpool John Moores University in the UK.
Together, they discussed the issues of differences and working with them in work teams and society in general. “For de Maré, mature citizenship is not about the pursuit of harmony, consensus, or compromise, but rather it is about recognizing and working with the differences we bring with a view to developing an understanding of how we might go on together without negating or concealing diversity. However, this does not rule out the potential for our ways of thinking to shift as we witness the testimony of others.” – Dr. Kevin Flinn quoted the author of the book «Koinonia: From hate, through dialogue, to culture in the larger group» De Maré.
Another interesting issue and approach to work was “social dreaming”, where we worked with different levels of our psyche.
Let us remind you that the Program was developed and implemented by Iryna Ratzke-Rybak,Dr. Kevin Flinn, the The Human Rights Vector NGO and the Institute of Psychosomatic and Traumatherapy NGO.
