In Search of Solidarity project

The Human Rights Vector team is pleased to announce that it has launched the In Search of Solidarity project, which will be implemented in cooperation with the NGO World of Tolerance (Georgia) and NGO Promo-LEX (Moldova),supported bythe Human Rights House Foundation and the financial support of the European Union.

The purpose of the project is to spread knowledge about the history of international solidarity, immigration, and occupied territories, the history and current state of human rights in the occupied territories of Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia, as well as to increase the social support of the human rights defense in Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia.

The project will include:
  • series of online awareness-raising events focused in the first place on the non-human rights defense community in order to spread this knowledge beyond the circle of human rights specialists;
  • awareness-raising activities with the local context in the territorial communities of Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia.

The project aims to encourage a dialogue between Georgian, Moldovan, and Ukrainian youth and human rights defenders, refugees from Ukraine to these countries, and local Ukrainian communities: video records of the events will be translated into English from the local languages, and there will be one joint event in the English language which will be translated into all three local languages of the target countries. The project is also expected to facilitate the engagement of youth into the human rights defense and life of local communities.

We will inform you about the results of the project during public events, as well as on our information platforms. So we invite you to follow them at the links:
