Competition of journalistic works "Trial in simple words"
NGO Vector of Human Rights announces the competition for journalistic works «Trial in simple words». National and local media reporters and bloggers covering court issues are invited to participate.
The purpose of the Contest is to raise public awareness about the organization of the judicial system, implementation of judicial reform, specific court cases, increase of interest and confidence of the public in the judiciary.
If you write about courts and law, changes in the legislation and concern yourself with the quality of forensic journalism in Ukraine, we invite you to become a part of the movement for its development and improvement.
Journalistic works in text, online and video and audio formats are accepted. The competition is open to all judicial works, however, in 2019 there are several separate nominations, namely:
Participation in the contest is open to authors who have published during 2019. Each participant can submit an unlimited number of entries. Deadline for applications is October 31, 2019.
All contest participants will receive Certificates of Participation and will be invited to the award ceremony in Kyiv. The best materials identified by the Jury will receive valuable prizes.

The competition is being held within the framework of the Open Media Courts for the Media and the Public as a Guarantee of Rule of Law project of NGO «Vector of Human Rights» with the support of the MATRA program (Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine).

- material with interview from the court's communication team (press service, judge-speaker, press-secretary, and others).
