Webinar “Human Rights: Examples of International Solidarity”
We invite you to the webinar “Human Rights: Examples of International Solidarity”, which will take place on 28 of June of 2022 at 12:00(GMT +4) (11:00-Kyiv, Chisinau; 12:00-Tbilisi). This webinar opens a series of online events dedicated to the history of international solidarity, human rights, migration, and occupation, with special attention paid to such topics in Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova. The working language of the event is English, simultaneous translation to Ukrainian will be provided. Duration – 90 minutes.
We invite representatives of non-governmental organizations and initiatives, staff of museums and other institutions of culture, historians, media, and specifically refugees from Ukraine and Ukrainian diaspora to join the webinar along with anyone who is interested in the topic.
During the webinar, we will discuss the history and main examples of international solidarity, modern examples of solidarity movements and acts, and their importance in the context of global security, peacebuilding, and protection of human rights.
Speaker of the Webinar — Sasha Delemenchuk, development advisor at the “Center for Participation and Development”, trainer, advocacy and security expert, member of the governing board at NGO “Human rights vector”.
Moderator of the Webinar is – Nazarii Boiarskyi, member of the governing board at NGO “Human rights vector”, member of the coaching pool of the Youth Department of the Council of Europe, an independent expert of the Eastern European Network for Citizenship Education.
