Webinar ‘History of Global Development of Human Rights’

We invite you to the ‘History of Global Development of Human Rights‘ webinar which will take place on March 29, 2021 at 15:00 (GMT+2) (15:00 — Kyiv time, 17:00 — Tbilisi time). This webinar will open a series of online-events dedicated to the history and modern state of affairs of human rights movement and equality in the world in general and in Georgia and Ukraine specifically. Language of event — English. Duration — 90 minutes. 
We invite representatives of non-governmental organizations and initiatives, staff of museums and other institutions of culture, historians, media and everyone who is curious about the topic of human rights and history. 
During the webinar theoretical and practical aspects of the international human rights protection system will be discussed, including history of the system, and its modern crisis, as well as ways to overcome it. 
Speaker of the webinar is Sasha Delemenchuk, the development advisor at the Center for Participation and Development, trainer, advocacy and security expert, a board member of the Human Rights Vector. 
Moderator of the webinar is Nazarii Boiarskyi, a board member of the Human Rights Vector, a member of the trainers pool of the Youth Department of Council of Europe, an independent expert of the Eastern European Network for Citizenship Education. 
Participants of the webinar will have an opportunity to: 
— ask questions, talk with the speaker during the webinar; 
— receive electronic certificate about participation in the webinar; 
— take part in the mini-research contest on the topic of representation of human rights in your city or village and receive financial support for implementation of the initiatives.
